at the top of the hill

beau turned 30 on saturday. he's sooooo old. just kidding. 30's the new 50 (right jen) hahahaha. 

the two of us went to benihana's together for a nice lunch. it was so yummy! we haven't been there for years and it was nice to have fun and relax with each other. we also went and saw the new movie 

"back up plan" with jennifer lopez. it was pretty good, but really only funny if you have kids.

last night we had a little family get together and it was fun to have beau's dad and his wife elena there too. 

we haven't seen them in about 18 months and it was great to visit. they had spent the night earlier in the week and when they left the next morning presley cried forever. she warmed up to grandpa right away and kaylee kept asking abuela to say something in spanish to her. too funny!!!

she wanted to pose with the cake. i also made beau a sign that said 

"you're at the top, it's all down hill from here"

wasn't that nice of me.

i like to rub it in that he's sooooo much older than me. 

hehehe, only two years but still. at least i'm still in my twenties!!!

hopefully he wished for no more house drama and for everything to go good and close on wednesday....
or that we'll win the lottery!
