the park

rocklin has changed a lot since we've lived there. a couple years ago they built this new, really big, really cool park. one of the days we went to check it out with janis and her girls. i didn't get too many pictures (and none of kaylee, since she wouldn't sit still long enough for me to) so you'll just have to take my word for how fun it is. they have a bunch of really big slides and we didn't realize how fast they were until our kids came shooting out of them. we were a little more careful after that and posted an adult to catch them at the bottom. as you can see beau had a lot of fun too.

i also had just gotten a huge static shock.....

"Look, I'm a jockey!" says Beau

beau was standing at the top of one of the slides and pres was at the bottom. he started calling her name so she would run to the slide and call up to him. then he would start making animal noises really loud, she would freak out and run as far as she could. then he would call her name again....repeating the process. it was so funny even though we were sort of torturing her.
