birthday's for my kids bring me mixed emotions. on one hand i'm happy that they are growing and experiencing new things, but on the other i'm sad that they aren't as little anymore. i can't believe kaylee girl is 6 today. i swear i was just pregnant with her and we were so worried that she was going to be born healthy and that she wouldn't try to come too early. kaylee has been an adventure from the very beginning. i remember my doctor telling me she had never seen such an active baby in the womb...and she hasn't stopped moving since. kaylee was so anxious to be born and after a scare at 31 weeks i held on until 37 weeks when my water broke (at gina's house)
she was just a little peanut when she was born: 5lbs. 7oz. and 18.5 inches long...soooo tiny!!! kaylee is the life of the party and always has a smile on her face. she is a great big sister and worries about everyone around her. she has such a great little testimony and i will catch her saying prayers multiple times a day all on her own. happy birthday kaylee ellah, thanks for being apart of our family!!!
kk getting a ride on the "rolly chair" at school, the highlight of the day for sure
crashed out on the way to grandma and papa's house
i love it when my kids are sleeping in the car...so peaceful!
the mountains this morning, i'm good at taking pictures when i'm driving ;)
grandma bought the girls some make-up for kk's birthday and for pres doing such a good job with potty training (more on that later, i don't want to jinx anything)
can you believe she did this all on her own?!
and then it was my turn. at first kaylee said "were going to make you look pretty." then after a little bit she said "um, actually we're going to make you look like a clown!" mission accomplished
um, thanks for the documentation papa
annual number pancake
holy smokes she's six!!!
dinner was followed by a bath with lots of bubbles thanks to grandma
the first snow of the season, at least up here in midway. the perfect way to end a birthday she said!
my mother-in-law has been in town visiting for the weekend. she had an consultation appt. with a dental implant specialist in heber and he told her that he'd be able to fit her in for surgery monday afternoon. she thought she'd have to come back in december so she jumped at the chance to have it done now. since my parents only live about 10 minutes from his office we brought her back here to recover. she thinks she'll be ok to fly home tomorrow, she is sooo stubborn. we'll see though. the dentist did give me permission to make her stay if i have to!!!
