having kids with birthday's super close to holidays is fun but also busy. i feel like once october comes it's birthday time, holiday, birthday, holiday...etc. so once pres was born i decided that we'd do birthday's on the even years since they are 3 years apart it only makes for 1 party a year. i can sort of handle that. kaylee wanted a spooky costume party and her request was granted. it was really fun planning and decorating for it. jenye was in town that weekend too which was so so fun and she helped sooooooo much. between jen, me and kels we spent about 6 hours decorating and making about 60 cupcakes the night before. we also had 16 kids and 18 grown-ups come to the party. i may have gone a little overboard this year but hey, you only turn 6 once right?!
party at grandma and papa's since our house is way to small. here is the front door all decorated

And you look STUNNING as a pirate! So pretty! Arrr.
bahahahaha, i should update your blog or at least someone should :) thanks for being the official photographer of the party. you're the bestest ever.
Hey Andrea, I can now officially make a comment on your blog :) What a great party idea and your daughter looks gorgeous in her costume. What a pretty girl! I haven't seen you at church since that one Sunday, so you must be getting away to your parents a lot, which must be nice! Hope you are doing well.
The party looked great Andrea! I had a Halloween party for Clay this year too- looks like we had similar games...but I added the "Name the body part of the withered corpse game" to fulfill the "boy" part! So fun! Jealous Jenye got to be there!!
