i love that deer creek is only about 10 minutes from my parents house. it is so pretty there

beau is in california visiting family for a few days so we've been staying with grandma and papa.
friday we spent the day at deer creek playing in the sand and swimming. by swimming i mean i stood in the water up to my knees and the girls just sort of splashed around. that water is FREEZING!!!
favorite comment of the day from kaylee: "this CAN'T be a real beach, there are no shells!"
poor kid has been spoiled after all the time spent in florida last summer. we still had a great day though!!!

poor pres, her mom kept her pasty little body covered up and forced her to wear a life jacket
if she went anywhere near the water...she wasn't too happy with me
the girls made some friends and they had a great time trying to made
water run from the top of the hill back down to the lake
papa had fun too!
