circus ghetto style

last night we took the girls to see a circus that came to town and by "came to town" i mean right down the street. it was seriously circus ghetto style, but we actually had a great time. January and February are hard months for me. i seem to get in a serious funk and have a hard time pulling out until springtime. I've been trying to keep the girls busy and come up with new and fun things to do. we weren't sure if pres should go at first since she was still recovering but she started crying when she saw us leaving so we took her along. she had a so much fun and was clapping and dancing along with the music. unless you've seen this circus and i won't name names you can fully appreciate the "ghetto-ness" of it. there were quite a few times i turned to my dad and beau and we both gave each other a "what the heck was that" look or a "i can't believe that guy just did that and didn't die" look. but it was the most excitement we've had in this little town since Swiss days so we enjoyed it!

presy-girl looking cute as always, couldn't even tell she just had surgery,
oh man, i wish i could have gotten a better picture of this.
wouldn't be the circus without a bear balancing on a wheel
check out the sequins on this guy.
i swear every person had been bedazzled a bit too much.
wish i got a good picture of the lady riding on one of the elephants.
next time you see beau ask him to do the little dance she was doing, he has it down!
i think they called this the "globe of death" or something
two motorcyclists inside riding around in circles. this really was beau's favorite part, it was way cool.
seriously we saw wayyyyy to much of this womans body when she was up spinning in the air
"when our powers combine we are captain planet!"
anyone remember that??
we told kaylee that it was she-ra, she knew who that was at least.
kaylee came back from the intermission break with papa lookin' like this......
isn't that amazing. they at least had a very talented artist.
pres kept pointing at kk and saying "rar-rar"
meaning that she thought kk was baby jaguar from go diego, go

My hubby took Jared to a "ghetto circus" once...they got there and no one (including the circus announcer) spoke a word of english! Good thing Jared was too young to really notice. Hysterical! I'm glad the girls had fun. :)
