{ward party}

last night was our ward party at a park near our house. they had set up a huge home made slip-n-slide a couple of pools and a cool sprinkler made out of pipes. it was sooooooo hot out so we only lasted about an hour. the girls had a great time. they are so different in social situations. kaylee runs right to where all the kids are playing and jumps right in to whatever is going on. pretty sure she doesn't have a shy bone in her body. pres on the other hand, hangs out near me for awhile, walks around a bit

my friend watched the girls one day last week for me and she has a son kaylee's age. he's a year ahead of kk in school but they are in the same primary class and now they are just best buddies. she really does love to hang out with the boys. {we're in trouble}

she found him right away at the party of course.

she has spent all day outside with her friends and did her own sunscreen since i was sleeping the afternoon away. {dad was in charge} she forgot her face and was a little pink by this picture

sooo fun. somehow no one hit the fence too hard, although kk had a few battle wounds

only one week left of summer break. i've been trying to get presley ready for preschool. we're soooo excited that she got into school through the district because it's free, at kk's school and oh did i mention its free. i love free stuff. as of right now she says she's not going by herself and i'm going with her. reminiscent of kaylee's first month of preschool where the teacher had to literally pull her off of me kicking and screaming. fun times ahead i think!
