happiest day of papa's life

my dad has wanted a riding lawn mower for as long as i can remember. he used to mow our HUGE backyard in washington with just the push mower. my mom said she didn't want him to have a riding one because then she knew he was getting exercise. well when we moved here, the backyard was even bigger and then you throw in the fact that we're at almost 6,000 ft....a push mower would've been a death sentence. so they paid someone to do it until monday when dad's dreams came true. i'm so happy for him, he works so hard and never buys anything for himself. the kids are enjoying it too. 

disclaimer: don't worry, our neighbor told us a bloody story 

about a kid losing a leg with a lawn mower....the blade wasn't down when they were riding.

how many high priests does it take to get a lawn mower off the back of a truck?

two, and then one who stops as he's driving by to help. gotta love utah.

maybe someday papa will let her mow the lawn.....hahaha, yeah right!

yup, pretty much the most exciting thing in our lives right now. we're so boring.

beau might have found a job though....everyone keep your fingers crossed.
